updating the DB

If you want to add names to the db (e.g. /etc/bind9/atlas.local.db), please make sure to follow these steps:

(1) Increase serial number by using the format: YYYYMMDDVV YYYY year, MM month, DD day, VV version on that day, e.g. 2008031403 (2) Run

 cd /etc/bind9
 named-checkzone atlas.local atlas.local.db

(3) If everything is fine, restart bind9

 /etc/init.d/bind9 restart
