Please check this list to make migration and finding/cabling machines easier (racks used for these machines should be 79 (water cooled, dual
UPS powered, automatic doors) and open racks C, H and I (note that top ~15 HU are reserved for data networking):

Glossary
- AEI
- machine requires internal AEI network connection (see NIC)
- data
- machine requires data network connection (see NIC)
- ext
- machine requires direct connection to internet (see NIC)
- height
- number of height units machine requires
- IPMI
- machine requires IPMI mgmt network connection (see NIC)
- mgmt
- machine requires mgmt network connection (see NIC)
- NIC
- Each network related column should get
-
X
- needed
-
-
- not needed
-
?
- if possible
-
D
- dedicated port needed (i.e. direct cable to Cisco switch for AEI and ext, direct connection to mgmt or data switch)
-
S
- shared port needed (e.g. we could use a small switch for build machines connecting to the AEI network, reducing the number of long cables)
- position
- rack number and lowest used height unit, e.g. 79/01
