Cluster upgrade to Debian 8/Jessie

We plan to use this page for keeping a record of where we are with respect to our full cluster upgrade to Debian Jessie.

Current status

Upgrade is underway (2016-09-30T12:38Z)

Sorry for the lack of updates here, we hit a few unexpected problems. Current status:

Headnodes

The following head nodes should be usable:

• atlas6 (please note restore of /local/user still underway)
• atlas7 (please note restore of /local/user still underway)
• atlas9

So far only a single rack of compute nodes has been converted, but over the next hours, we will continue with the conversion. Running condor_status on the head node should give you more information.
