Problems with X11 when connecting with MacOS X to headnodes
If you experience problems running X programs, e.g. Matlab (even in command line mode), you might be hit by a problem discussed on the Mathworks forum. the error might express itself with this line:/tmp/launch-GREpDa/: unknown host. (no address associated with name)It might help if you locally
unset DISPLAY before ssh-ing into the head nodes. Please report if the proposed solution helps you!
