In order to manage Issue #56 there is some basic knowledge required to use the TDS 3014B.

So let's get started:

It is highly recommended that you use the external power cord to work with the oscilloscope and not the included battery. After starting the device you may want to connect it to your Laptop in order to use the TDS 3014B's web-interface. The default IP address of the device is 192.168.0.2 so you might want to make sure you are able to reach this address-range.

You are now able to upload the config-file attached to this TWiki-page (getsetup.set) in order to configure the device with a basic setup. To do so use the "data"-button in your browser. You also might want to lower the refresh-rate.

Now attach the clamp-on ammeter where needed. You should be able to see up to x (here 3) graphs on the screen.

If you don't see anything on the screen it will be necessary to change the battery of the clamp-on ammeters.

To measure possible peaks you turn the level-button to the desired intensity and push the "single seq"-button. The screen will freeze till a peak is detected. After that you will be able to see the peak on both screens and change the accuracy of the scales in the graph.
