This basic tutorial describes the correct usage of the Redmine bugtracker.

After the login you will be redirected to your own page which can be customized by usig the "Personalize this page"-link in the upper right corner. You may want to add a category for issues reported by you or a calender to stay up to date about current issues.

From here on you can either use the drop down menu in the upper right to browse through one of your projects or click on the "Projects"-Link in the upper left corner to see a list of all projects you can access. After choosing a project you'll be able to file new issues, watch the current issue list or see all activities in the project for the last few days by clicking on the respective link on the project page.
