Every one must be able to install or delete software from the shell. To do this your Suse needs an Repository with the Packages.

Take Care...!!! You must select the right Repository for your Suse. After a little search I have found a repository for my suse Sles 10

 http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source/

The Next Step is to add the Repository to the YAST on your suse

• Startig YAST
• Istallationsquelle wechseln
• Hinzufügen

And now comms the Hack...!!! select the right method of your repository (ftp, https...) Add the whole string to the editfield "Servername" WHITHOUT A "HTTP" OR "FTP" ...!!!

• Ok

Well now you have your suse learned to install the software from the internet...!!!!
