Minutes of the 23/6/2014 meeting
Attending: G. Heinzel, B. Krishnan, H. Lück, M.A. Papa, R. Prix, B. Willke
After some discussions, we agreed to proceed with the proposal put forward by Benno : we will assess the need and requirements for the following functionalities, which are common to both divisions:
- building & facility management
- IT
- PR
- teaching
- purchasing (initiate and control purchasing process, support request-for-quotation process, tranfer purchasing info to budgeting department
- management (budget planning and distribution, chair service group meetings, staff planning and contracts, organize safety, large contracts)
- teaching coordinator (organize lectures and lecture announcments, organize and modernize student lab, coordinate
PhD programs)
- international office
We reconvene on thursday 26th, 9:00. We will first consider additions (or subtractions) to the list of common tasks and then begin with discussing requirements for the building and facility management.
