The Holodeck cluster

Holodeck is a specialized part of the Atlas cluster of the Albert Einstein Institute Hannover (AEI) operated by the binary merger & numerical relativity group led by Frank Ohme. It started operation in early 2017 and is equipped with fast InfiniBand networking to allow for large numerical relativity simulations to utilize multiple nodes at once.
For this purpose the cluster consists of 2 head nodes and 24 work nodes. (An overview of all nodes and how to access them can be found here)
