This is the public information on the ATLAS cluster operated by the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (also named Albert Einstein Insititute, AEI) situated in Potsdam and Han(n)over. The hardware itself is installed in Hannover.

2013-12 Infrastructure work to integrate extension
2013-10 Migration to new networking set-up
2013-01-31 We are entering the final phase of Atlas.2008, i.e. we will let nodes die and re-use the non-broken parts to keep as many nodes up and running while preparing Atlas.2013 extension
2013-01-15 Full scale shutdown for about a day
2012-07-02 Full scale cluster shutdown due to pipe welding, will last for 2-3 days
2012-02/2012-03 Move to Squeeze, basically done and over
